Welcome to the website of NALG Ireland!

The Irish National Association of Left-Handed Golfers (NALG) was formed in 1986.

The objective of the NALG Ireland is to promote, encourage and foster the game of golf and in particular left-handed golf throughout the Ireland.

The association has about 300 members and also hosted the 1990 & 1995 International (WALG) tournament in Ireland.

What we do!

The Irish NALG organises about 6-7 tournaments per year, including a National Championship. After the WALG tournament of 1992 in Galway, Jerry Bradley sent a circular to all the 300 or so golf clubs in Ireland. About half replied with lists of left-handed golfers, on which there were about 3,000 names at the time.

A fixture list for 2018 is published in our Fixtures page.
